PHILADELPHIA - (Business Wire)
On behalf of 1500 Walnut Enterprises, LLC, Binswanger is pleased to
announce the recent execution of a 7,810 sq. ft. lease of prime office
space at 1500 Walnut Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The lessee, The Bulletin, the well-known Philadelphia-area paper that
re-launched publication in 2004, will relocate their newsroom and
administrative and executive offices to the property on March 1st
from their current location at 1518 Walnut Street.
This 325,000 sq. ft., 22-story twin tower features panoramic views of
the city and a typical floor size of approximately 14,553 rentable sq.
ft. Improvements to the building include a new façade,
six high-speed passenger elevators, renovated restrooms, lobby and
common areas, and a new HVAC system. These improvements represent an
investment in the property by ownership in excess of $8.5 million.
Additionally, a covered garage featuring 160 covered parking spaces is
part of the building. Ownership is taking an aggressive, hands-on
approach to assist Binswanger in leasing space in the building.
Strategically located at the southwest corner of 15th
and Walnut Streets, the property provides convenient access to a vast
commuter rail system including the Market-Frankford Line, the Broad
Street Subway, the Regional Rail system and the PATCO Hi-Speedline.
Headquartered in Philadelphia, PA, Binswanger is an international
full-service real estate organization with offices worldwide throughout
the U.S.A., Canada, Mexico and South America, the U.K. and Europe, the
Middle East, and Asia.
