(EMAILWIRE.COM, November 07, 2009 ) Dallas, TX - SandRidge Energy Inc. (NYSE:SD) declined 4.33% to $10.16 on over 14.30 million shares after SandRidge Energy, Inc. Reports Financial and Operational Results for Third Quarter and First Nine Months of 2009. Adjusted net income available to common stockholders of $112.8 million, or $0.66 per share, in the first nine months of 2009 compared to adjusted net income available to common stockholders of $82.1 million, or $0.54 per share, in the first nine months of 2008.
Sunoco, Inc. (NYSE:SUN) declined 9.35% to $28.21 on over 8.09 million shares after analysts were expecting Sunoco Inc. to report earnings of $-0.10 for last quarter, but SUN missed expectations with actual earnings of $-0.29 which is 19 cents below the consensus estimate. Sunoco, Inc. through its subsidiaries, is principally a petroleum refiner and marketer and chemicals manufacturer with interests in logistics and cokemaking. The Company’s petroleum refining and marketing operations include the manufacturing and marketing of a full range of petroleum products, including fuels, lubricants and some petrochemicals.
CVR Energy, Inc. (NYSE:CVI) declined 17.56% to $8.50. The Stock hit an intraday high and an intraday low of $9 and $8.10 respectively. In the last six months the stock went up over 6%. CVR Energy, Inc. and its subsidiaries is an independent refiner and marketer of transportation fuels. In addition, the Company owns the interests, a limited partnership, which produces nitrogen fertilizers in the form of ammonia and UAN.
