Balsam Hill® adds three new lower-priced artificial Christmas trees featuring realistic True Needle® foliage to its Classics Collection in response to consumer demand.

Redwood City, CA (PRWEB) November 9, 2009 -- Balsam Hill®, the online leader in life-like artificial Christmas trees, announces that its lower-priced Classics Collection will now contain three new trees featuring the company's premium True Needle® Technology. This is in response to customer requests for a wider selection of budget-friendly versions of the company's high-quality artificial Christmas trees.

"Like other high-end retailers, we are responding to our customers' needs in the current economy by providing products that feature premium details, but at a lower cost," says Balsam Hill® founder and CEO Thomas Harman. "We are excited to incorporate more of our luxurious ultra realistic True Needle® Technology into the Classics Collection, so that customers can find the best Christmas tree in their budget."

Balsam Hill® created three new realistic Christmas tree styles - the Timberline Fir, the Douglas Fir, and an LED Christmas tree, the Black Spruce. These three artificial Christmas trees incorporate the company's trademark ultra-realistic True Needle® Technology on the outer branch tips along with traditional PVC branches. True Needle® foliage is created through an injection-mold process, whereby polyethylene (PE) is injected into highly detailed molds based upon live tree species. This technology renders Balsam Hill® True Needle® trees more life-like, and thus more expensive, than artificial Christmas trees made of PVC.

Balsam Hill's Signature Collections feature Christmas trees made with substantial amounts of True Needle® foliage, while its Classics Collection features trees and topiaries made primarily of PVC and geared toward the budget-conscious. The three lower-priced pre lit Christmas trees in the Classics Collection are designed with True Needle® foliage on the of the branches while using traditional PVC on the remaining branches. The mix of needle types gives these new trees realistic detail and a more luxurious appearance at an economical price.
