MELVILLE, N.Y. - (Business Wire) Arrow Electronics Inc. (NYSE:ARW) continues its active involvement in the ARM community by participating in the 2008 ARM Developers
’ Conference, being held Oct. 7-9 in Silicon Valley at the Santa Clara Convention Center. Arrow engineers will share their expertise via presentations and panel discussions, as well as highlight new tools for developers.

Conference attendees can visit booth 213 where Arrow will feature demonstrations of ARM platforms running WinCE and the new Cortex-M1 and Cortex-A8 processors. Arrow engineers will be on hand to discuss developments in its ARM, FPGA and ASIC solutions.
Arrow will also participate in the following conference events:
Wednesday, Oct. 8, 11:00 a.m. – Thomas Colino, Arrow’s business development manager, Custom Logic Solutions, will discuss the system benefits and risk mitigation of ARM cores and subsystems in FPGA, ASIC, and software emulation environments.
Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2:00 p.m. – Arrow’s Ken Havens, engineering marketing development manager, will participate in the microcontroller unit (MCU) panel entitled “Crystal Ball Gazing in the Embedded Market.” This panel will examine the direction the embedded market will be moving over the next few years and what the MCU landscape will look like in the future.
