The Workgroup for Electronic Data
Interchange (WEDI) has announced the recipients for its 2009 Awards
Program. This program identifies and recognizes individuals and
organizations in the healthcare industry whose achievements have
contributed significantly to the advancement of WEDI's mission and/or the
overall improvement of specific aspects of the healthcare industry. The
awards will be presented during WEDI's Annual Member Meeting on November
17th in Baltimore, MD as part of the WEDI Fall Conference.
Andrea Danes, Senior Principal of CSG Government Solutions, is a recipient
of the Distinguished Service Award. This award recognizes individuals who
have provided significant leadership to the fulfillment of the mission,
objectives, programs and overall volunteer activities of WEDI and/or WEDI
SNIP through participation in committees, workgroups, Policy Advisory
Groups, Board of Directors, etc.
