Unique program includes three concentrations AURORA, Colo., Aug. 20
AURORA, Colo., Aug. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- American Sentinel University
recently introduced a new B.S. Criminal Justice program. Now, those seeking a
career in the profession have an online option for earning their degree.
"This program opens a new area of study and career options for our
students, building upon our current strengths in technology and management,"
said Dr. Richard W. Oliver, CEO and Provost of American Sentinel University.
Students graduating from the Criminal Justice program will be prepared for
a wide range of career options, such as pre-law, law enforcement,
administration, investigation, social services and human resources. Students
can choose a general Criminal Justice program or tailor their education
experiences through one of three concentrations: Law Enforcement, Criminal
Justice Administration or Cyber-Criminology.
These concentrations, and the Criminal Justice Program in general,
complement other areas of study already offered by American Sentinel
University. The Cyber-Criminology concentration leverages the school's
Computer Security courses and the Administration concentration leverages the
school's management programs.
"This Criminal Justice Program is a perfect example of technology
integrating into nearly every career field," observed Oliver. "We're very
excited about the development of this program." Military personnel will find
the new Criminal Justice degree program with its unique concentrations
especially relevant. "We designed this new program to meet current and future
needs of military personnel, especially men and women of the Air Force."
