'American Idol' Ruben Studdard, Broadway's Sarah Pfisterer to Perform at Bradley Prizes Ceremony in Washington, D.C.

MILWAUKEE, May 20 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Lynde and Harry Bradley Foundation today announced that American Idol winner Ruben Studdard and Broadway star Sarah Pfisterer will perform at the fifth annual Bradley Prizes held at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday, June 4, 2008.

The 2008 Bradley Prize recipients are: Gary S. Becker, University Professor of Economics and Sociology, University of Chicago; Victor Davis Hanson, Martin and Illie Anderson Senior Fellow, the Hoover Institution; Alan Charles Kors, Professor of History, University of Pennsylvania; and Robert L. Woodson, Sr., President, Center for Neighborhood Enterprise. Each award carries a stipend of $250,000.

Ruben Studdard hails from Birmingham, Alabama. He was named American Idol in 2003. His albums have included "Soulful," "I Need an Angel," and "The Return." He has sold more than 2 million albums in the U.S.

Sarah Pfisterer has appeared in many successful Broadway productions including "The Phantom of the Opera," "Show Boat," and "Beauty and the Beast."
