New Market Areas Include Arkansas, Oklahoma and Tennessee LIVONIA, Mich., Dec. 3
LIVONIA, Mich., Dec. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- American Community Mutual Insurance
Company understands that today's consumers are looking for affordable health
insurance options. To meet that need, American Community has introduced
Community Flex(TM), a new PPO health product designed to help hold down
medical expenses. The new health plan for individuals and families, which will
be sold through independent agents, will be available January 1, 2009 in 11
states, including three new markets for American Community: Arkansas, Oklahoma
and Tennessee.
Community Flex offers three plan designs--Flex 100, Flex 80 and Flex 60--
to give consumers multiple options for deductibles and benefit percentages. As
an added benefit, the premium rate is guaranteed for the first 24 months of
coverage when a deductible of $5,000 or higher is selected. For network
deductibles of $500 - $3,500, the premium rate is guaranteed for the first 12
months of coverage.
"Community Flex gives consumers the flexibility to build a health plan
that's tailored for them," said Michael E. Tobin, President and CEO. "Unlike
other plans that force people to pay for coverage that they may never need,
Community Flex gets back to the basics to provide both value and choice."
Policyholders have access to leading PPO (preferred provider) networks
offering high-quality hospitals, primary care physicians and specialists in
Arkansas, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, Ohio, Oklahoma,
Tennessee, Texas and Wisconsin.
Community Flex also includes these valuable benefits and services for all
plan designs:
-- $5 million lifetime policy maximum
-- Family accident benefit
-- Family accidental death & dismemberment coverage
-- Option to upgrade to the Gold Benefits package for richer benefits on
covered services.
-- Value discount drug card
