BROOMFIELD, CO -- 07/08/08 -- OpenLogic, Inc., a provider of enterprise open source software solutions encompassing hundreds of open source packages, today announced a new vendor partnership program designed to enhance OpenLogic's support offerings. The partnership allows leading commercial open source software vendors to provide support for their projects to OpenLogic customers. OpenLogic also announced that EnterpriseDB and JasperSoft have joined this new partner program.

"This is the next phase of our open source aggregation model where we partner with leading open source vendors as well as individual open source developers to provide open source support," said Steve Grandchamp, CEO of OpenLogic. "OpenLogic continues to grow the depth of its consolidated support for our Global 2000 customers. With this program we have also created a new sales channel and source of revenue for our vendor partners."

OpenLogic is a pioneer in developing new, successful business models for providing consolidated support for open source software. OpenLogic provides front line enterprise-grade support across the 400 open source packages in its certified library. In 2006, OpenLogic created its Expert Community to provide additional backstop support -- paying lead open source developers for support. Now, with this new partnership program, commercial partners will provide backstop support for their projects and OpenLogic will resell its partners' enterprise support offerings.

The first members of the program include EnterpriseDB and JasperSoft.

"Our partnership with OpenLogic enables enterprises to get support on Postgres along with any of the other 400 open source packages in OpenLogic's certified Library," said Andy Astor, EVP of business development at EnterpriseDB. "In addition, it opens up a new channel for EnterpriseDB to reach Global 2000 organizations."

"OLEX has made a large impact on open source adoption in the global 2000," said Jose Morales, VP of business development at Jaspersoft. "We are pleased to be working with OpenLogic as companies are now enabled to get Jaspersoft backed support together with support on other open source solutions from a single source. OpenLogic will also expand our channel by acting as a reseller for JasperSoft's Professional Edition products."
