DALLAS, Nov. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Aerus LLC has recently been made aware that appliance maker Electrolux Major Appliances North America, is closing two Iowa plants by spring 2011, putting 850 people out of work as operations are moved to Mexico. Electrolux Major Appliances North America is not in any way affiliated with Aerus LLC. Aerus LLC (formerly known as Electrolux LLC), the manufacturer of Electrolux Vacuums in North America from 1924-2003, wants to reassure all of its business associates and independent business owners that Aerus is still making products in the United States and is in the business of creating opportunities for people throughout North America.
