HILLSBOROUGH, N.C., Nov. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Whether it's called a fling, casual sex or a hookup, the one-night stand is alive and well in America! Adam & Eve, America's most trusted name in adult entertainment, asked over 1,000 American adults to truthfully reveal how many one-night stands they'd had. And the results may open up an interesting line of communication in couples!

According to Adam & Eve's "Great American Sex Survey," nearly 32% of the respondents revealed they'd had between 2 to 5 one-night stands, while the second largest percentage (30%) admitted they'd never had a one-night stand at all.
The next largest group of respondents (13%) said they had only had a single one-night stand, and 10% acknowledged they'd had between 6-10 one-night stands.
Shockingly, the next largest group (9%) confessed to having more than 20 one-night stands, followed by 4% with 11-15 hookups, and 2% with 16-20.
"We found it interesting that 75% of the respondents have had 5 or fewer one-night stands, which tells us that most people are comfortable having a few one-night stands but they are not overly popular," said Katy Zvolerin, Adam & Eve Director or Public Relations. "It's interesting to note that there is a segment of the population who has a lot of one-night stands, but overall, it appears the average American is still holding on to traditional sexual values in many ways."
Because sexual curiosity is part of human nature, adult entertainment giant Adam & Eve recently commissioned event management and web survey software company Cvent Inc. to launch a sex survey determining Americans' sexual practices, and the results are being released every month.
