Munster,
Lafayette,
Yorktown and three locations in
Indianapolis, with Merrillville scheduled to open in the next few months.
Active Day provides nursing care and health services, meals, transportation and therapeutic activities for the elderly and disabled adults. The centers offer comprehensive medical supervision and social programs, as well as physical, occupational and speech therapies for clients. The service is often viewed as an alternative to full-time nursing care.

Cost containment and respite for caregivers are two of the benefits to participating in adult day programs. Medicaid covers the cost of medical adult day health services for those who qualify. Caregivers are provided safe, reliable assistance that also allows for meaningful part or fulltime employment.
In addition to nursing and therapy services, Active Day also provides personal care assistance services and transportation.
