NEW YORK, Aug. 28 The sister of slain celebrity Nicole Brown Simpson won't appear on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" because of developments concerning the book, "If I Did It."

O.J. Simpson says his book is a hypothetical recounting of the double slayings of his ex-wife, Nicole, and her friend, Ron Goldman. Goldman's family recently won rights to the book and plans to publish it, a move Denise Brown opposes.

Simpson was acquitted in the slayings but found liable in civil court.

Brown was to be on the show Sept. 13 with Fred and Kim Goldman. It was unclear whether the Goldmans will still appear on the program, Publishers Weekly reported Tuesday.

"I very much wanted to be on the show if I could have brought about a change for the positive but the Goldmans" and others involved in publishing of the book "have made sure that could not happen," Brown said in a statement.

Beaufort publisher Eric Kampmann told Publishers Weekly he's convinced he is doing the right thing in publishing it because the book contains new information and "the first-person narrator, O.J. Simpson, (is) not getting a dime for it."

Denise Brown
By: JANET CARTER , Wed, 29 Aug 2007 16:04:06 GMT

Denise Brown is as phony as the day is long. If she really cares about Nicole's kids, she should keep her worthless mouth shut and let the Goldman's get the money they should have gotten from Murderer Simpson a long time ago. Simpson wrote that book and if the only way the Goldman's can get their money is to publish what Simpson himself wrote then so be it. I will be purchasing many copies in my support of the Goldman's. And thank God we won't have to look at phony-baloney Denise Brown on Oprah.

Goldman's and Denise Brown

I am all for you Denise, I figured (you know who!!) would drop out.
If they want to be in the lime light let them be. The Brown's should share alot more in money, if the book does sell, after all, it was more than Fred Goldman"s son that was killed.
I hope the book soars for a little bit, then the interest in it will die down--sorry Fred and Kim, there will be a lot of people 6ft. under before you come close to seeing all those millions
