BEIJING, Aug. 24 Zhao Dinhong in China can teach a thing or two about family togetherness -- his clan of 24 members has been eating together for the past 28 years.
The extended family spanning three generations lives in Yangzhou in the eastern coastal province of Jiangsu and has been getting together for lunch for nearly three decades, China Daily reported Friday.
The report said Zhao is the one to be up first to get the preparations started.
Once lunch is ready by noon, all members of his family and those of his brother assemble at three different to share the day's feast.
When finished, the men retire to indulge in small talk while the younger women take up the cleanup chores.
Zhao said he has never resented his workload, noting all members welcome sharing the meal together.
