ARIES (March 21-April 19): You are apt to expect too much reward for your effort today. While much of what you do is valuable, it may also be expected and necessary. Be satisfied with a job well done.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20): Your sense of ambition is apt to suffer today. Just when you most need to demonstrate proficiency, you may be least able to do so. Begin the day in ways designed to wake you up and keep you focused.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20): Emotional vacillation can make you appear unreliable. You need to demonstrate that you are mature and reliable. In certain ways, you have allowed others to take charge but now it falls to you.

CANCER (June 21-July 22): You are feeling a vague inkling that you want more out of life but can't quite put your finger in it. Keep the question in the back of your mind and return to it when you have time to let ideas rise to consciousness.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22): You have trouble calling anybody wrong. You are challenged to use critical thinking. Doubts or trust can arise first; reasons come later. For today, you are safer holding back until you have hard data to reason with.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22): You can feel held back by family concerns, from making the most of public fame. Be aware that private concerns bleed into the public arena now and if your can't be true to the former, you may not be trusted in the latter.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22): You have trouble translating imaginative ideas into something to show. Ideas seem locked in your head or seem impractical once you try to demonstrate them. It's better to work on them further.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21): Unfinished business distracts you from making forward progress. It may be best to tend to them so that they no longer hinder you. Problems arise so long as you deny the importance of real circumstances.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21): Impropriety in various forms is an important issue today. You must help others help themselves, while paying careful attention to the proper limits of your own position and responsibilities: don't transgress them.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19): You are prone to rely on intuition rather than experience. However, this need not be so. You must make an effort to research what others have found and incorporate that knowledge to your benefit.
