SALT LAKE CITY, July 30 An unnamed man was arrested in Salt Lake City after allegedly flashing a mouthful of cocaine at police officers.
Police Sgt. Joe Cyr said he was told the man opened his mouth to reveal bags of cocaine while police officers were passing by Sunday morning, the Salt Lake Tribune reported.
"We don't know why he did that, but it was enough for officers to stop," said Cyr.
KSL-TV, Salt Lake City, reported that the man resisted arrest and one bag of cocaine fell out of his mouth during the scuffle.
Police found more bags of cocaine hidden nearby.
The suspect was jailed for possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and resisting arrest.
