Pacman Jones barred from training camp
NASHVILLE, July 27 Tennessee Titans cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones has been barred from the team's training camp in Nashville.
The two-year veteran has been suspended for the entire 2007 season by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell because of several off-the-field incidents, including an alleged involvement in a shooting at a strip club in Las Vegas during the NBA's All-Star weekend in February.
He has been questioned by police 10 times and arrested five times since the Titans made him their top pick in the 2005 NFL draft.

Strahan a no-show at Giants training camp
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., July 27 New York Giants defensive end Michael Strahan did not report to training camp Friday amid reports he is considering retirement.
The Giants noted on their Web site that the seven-time Pro Bowl choice was expected to report for his 15th training camp -- until Thursday evening, when Strahan's agent, Tony Agnone, told Giants General Manager Jerry Reese in a phone call that his client would be a no-show.
"I thought it was a little bit of late notice, but that's the way the NFL works sometimes," Reese said. "Tony didn't give me any reason. He didn't talk about contract at all."
Various reports have speculated the 35-year-old Strahan is not happy about his contract.
Strahan has 132 ½ sacks in 14 NFL seasons, tied with Hall of Fame linebacker Lawrence Taylor both for the most in franchise history. Strahan holds the league record for most sacks in one season with 22 1/2 in 2001.
He was sidelined last season by a foot injury.
Back injury ends Randy Johnson's season
PHOENIX, July 27 Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Randy Johnson is done for the 2007 season because of a herniated disc in his back.
Arizona Manager Bob Melvin said Friday on the team's Web site the 44-year-old left-hander will undergo surgery next Friday, and intends to pitch again in 2008.
Melvin said Johnson hopes to return by spring training.
"How hard he tried to pitch with the injury, I think, is extremely admirable," General Manager Josh Byrnes told the Arizona Republic. "I also think it's pretty smart at this point, because the symptoms -- we just haven't been able to knock them out -- to have the surgery and give him the best chance for 2008."
The former Cy Young Award winner was 4-3 with a 3.81 ERA this season. In 10 starts, Johnson hurled 56 2/3 innings with 13 walks and 72 strikeouts.
He was placed on the 15-day disabled list June 29.
