WASHINGTON, July 1 Barack Obama's presidential campaign raised more than $30 million during the second quarter of the year, it was reported Sunday.
The amount raised by Obama follows the $25.8 million the Democratic senator from Illinois during the first quarter of the year, according to the ABC News program "George Stephanopoulos Reports."
Official figures for the second quarter have yet to be released, though the presidential campaign of Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., said it expected to raise about $27 million. The campaign of former Sen. John Edwards, D-N.C., publicly set a goal of $9 million for the second quarter.
