HALAN, India, May 27 Indian film producer G. Srinivasan has died near Halan, India, after falling into a 50-foot gorge.Srinivasan, 49, and his family were hiking outside of Halan when the producer suddenly slipped and fell to his death in front of one of his daughter, Shreya, and his wife Sandhya Lakshman, The Press Trust of India reported.The producer, who was on vacation with his family for the past 10 days, was found dead at the bottom of the gorge about three hours after the accident took place.Srinivasan worked on numerous films, including 1997's "Iruvar," "Yuva" in 2002 and "Guru" in 2007. He is survived by his wife and three daughters.Copyright 2007 by UPI
