ROCHESTER, Minn., May 18 For those who have no problem walking while chewing gum, U.S. researchers say a work station that includes a treadmill could result in weight loss.Researchers at the Mayo Clinic, in Rochester, Minn., say the "walk-and-work" desk could result in obese employees shedding up to 66 pounds in a year, according to a study published ahead of print in the British Journal of Sports Medicine. The vertical desk allows people to work at a computer while simultaneously walking on a treadmill at a speed of their own choosing -- about 1 mile an hour. The frame holds a Plexiglass panel on to which two adjustable arms are bolted -- one to hold the computer screen and the other for the keyboard and mouse. The authors calculate that if obese employees used the vertical work-station for a couple of hours a day, they could boost their energy expenditure, dropping 40 to 66 pounds in a year.Copyright 2007 by UPI

The idea is sound, apart from exercise should be fun. If you're surfing the web or playing games on your PC it's a better idea. Work is tough already, exercise is tedious already, so how do the two add up? Better to get a Gamercize (and save yourself $900!). The stepper or cycle take up a lot less space than a huge treadmill plus you won't loose teeth falling off them!!!

It's not very hard to gain weight, but it's extremely hard to lose. S try not to gain weight at all. Don't fall into anerexia, but don't be obese.
