REDFORD TOWNSHIP, Mich., May 13 The Rev. Ben Gilbert drew a weekend crowd to a Michigan church as 200 bikers rallied against discrimination between motorcyclists.Such discrimination between owners of foreign-made fiberglass bikes by those who ride steel ones is known in the motorcycle culture as "motorcyclism." The Detroit News reported Gilbert preached against motorcyclism, as well as racism and intolerance, at the Saturday rally."There is no room for two-wheel racism after we finally get beyond all the other stupid 'isms,'" said Gilbert, who rides a black-and-silver Honda Valkyrie. During the three-hour celebration of Christian bikers, Gilbert blessed attendees and their bikes. Christian bikers said they are still trying to overcome the stereotype of the biker as a criminal and troublemaker.Copyright 2007 by UPI
