ABUJA, Nigeria, May 5 Negotiations continued Saturday for the release of 11 Daewoo workers kidnapped in Nigeria.

The workers, including three South Korean executives, were abducted Thursday in the southern Rivers State, the Korea Times reported.

Nigerian officials who met with the kidnappers would not release their demands publicly, said an unidentified spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade in Nigeria.

Daewoo Engineering and Construction Co. is building a power plant in the southern Rivers State. Workers from the plant also were kidnapped and released last June and last July, the Korea Times said.
