DETROIT, April 29 The Michigan Lottery will issue the most expensive ticket in its history -- $50 per ticket -- for a shot at the $2 million top prize. The "Super Raffle" tickets go on sale May 7, and only 250,000 will be sold, The Detroit News reported. Two players will win $2 million each in a June 18 drawing, the newspaper said, while 25 players will collect $100,000 each and 4,500 players will receive $500 apiece. Retailers and lottery commissioners told the newspaper they are not worried about the high ticket price because the odds of taking home cash are relatively high. The creation of the "Super Raffle" was sparked by unprecedented sales in lottery tickets in recent years, the newspaper said.
