Munich - Former top-10 player Nicolas Kiefer of Germany on Wednesday further delayed his comeback to tennis from a wrist injury due to persistent pain. Kiefer said he had to cancel his appearance next week at the BMW Open in Munich because he was not able to train pain-free. He added he will also not play at the Hamburg Masters in mid-May.

The 29-year-old had originally planned to make his comeback in Munich. Kiefer damaged his left wrist at the French Open in May 2006, underwent several operations and has not played since.
