SHANGHAI, China, April 22 Raphael Jacquelin, despite four bogeys in his last six holes, held on Sunday for a two-shot victory at the BMW Asian Open golf tournament in Shanghai.

Jacquelin led after every round of this week's event in collecting his second European Tour title. He shot one-over 73 in Sunday's final round and was 10-under 278 for the tournament.

Rainy and windy conditions late in the round make it tough for the entire field. Tournament runner-up Soren Kjeldsen (eight-under 280) had a double bogey at No. 14 and a bogey at 16. Scott Hend and Simon Yates tied for third at seven-under but Hend also had a double bogey at 14 and bogey at 16 and Simon Yates had a double bogey on No. 18.

"The wind picked up and the rain and it was tough from the 12th to the 18th," Jacquelin said. "My shots were not so good, so I played for the good side of the green and tried to save par." A strong front nine pushed his lead to four strokes but he had bogeys on 13 and 14 as the weather conditions came into play. Jacquelin finished with bogeys on Nos. 17 and 18.
