EXETER, England, April 7 A British woman was shocked to see her border collie fall off a 165-foot high cliff -- and even more surprised that the dog sustained only minor injuries.Kay Clarke told The Daily Mail she was terrified when she saw Ben, the border collie, fall off the cliff near the British town of Burton Bradstock, but was amazed to find the dog had only hurt its paw."I was just in shock, I couldn't take it in," she said. A veterinarian who was dispatched to help the animal estimated the dog hit the ground at 70 mph.The dog now has a splint on its leg and is receiving pain killers -- and Clarke said she has learned her lesson about walking Ben without a leash."Ben is feeling very sorry for himself but he should be back on his feet in no time," she told the paper. "I will never let him off the lead again when we are on a cliff, that's for sure." Copyright 2007 by UPI
