CINCINNATI, April 7 Adam Dunn hit a key two-run homer Saturday afternoon as the Cincinnati Reds beat the Pittsburgh Pirates, 7-5.

Dunn's third home run of the season came during a three-run first inning, as Cincinnati built an early 3-2 lead.

Pittsburgh forged in front, 5-4, in the top of the fourth after its own three-run outburst.

Edwin Encarnacion had three hits and two RBI, Ryan Freel had two hits and two runs, and Alex Gonzalez had two hits and one RBI for the Reds, who have won three in a row.

Winning pitcher Aaron Harang (2-0) was touched for five earned runs and eight hits in 5 2/3 innings with one walk and six strikeouts.

Adam LaRoche homered and drove in two runs, Xavier Nady and Humberto Cota hit RBI doubles, while starter and loser Tony Armas Jr. (0-1) hit an RBI single for the Pirates, who will try Sunday to avert a three-game sweep.
