FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., March 12 An annoyed prisoner apparently attempted to take his frustrations out on a Florida courthouse Monday by flooding a portion of it.The Miami Herald said the inmate, who had recently been transferred to Broward County Courthouse from a county jail, damaged a sprinkler head significantly enough that the north wing of the Fort Lauderdale building ultimately flooded.Sheriff's Office spokesman Mike Jachles said the prisoner was not attempting to escape but merely seemed to be acting out in frustration.Apparently, this was just an annoyed prisoner, he said. Fort Lauderdale Fire-Rescue helped courthouse officials clean up.The inmate now faces new charges, the Herald reported. He is expected to be charged with tampering with a fire suppression system.Copyright 2007 by UPI
