Lahore, March 6 Pakistanis travelling to the West Indies for the upcoming World Cup will get their visas without having to travel to the New Delhi-based Trinidad and Tobago High Commission, which is issuing them.Announcing this here Tuesday, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said that Gerry's/FedEx have been appointed as the 'exclusive service providers' to despatch the visa applications of the Pakistani fans to India and bring them back.'The exclusive service providers are collecting the said applications, having them processed at Trinidad and Tobago High Commission in New Delhi and returning them to the applicants in minimum seven working days processing time,' PCB said in a statement.The central visas will take the fans to all CARICOM, or Caribbean countries, without their having to secure fresh visas in every country they visit for the World Cup beginning March 11.The 16-nation World Cup starts with at Montego Bay, Jamaica, March 11.The final of the 49-day tournament will be played at Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados, April 28.Gerry's/FedEx, in collaboration with PCB, have set up special offices at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore and PCB Regional Cricket Academy at the National Stadium in Karachi.They are also handling visa requests at their own offices in Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Hyderabad, Mirpur, Islamabad, Multan, Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta and Sialkot.The offices have been collecting visa applications since March 1.More information on the visa application process and requirements can be obtained from the PCB website, www.pcb.com.pk, or on phone from PCB at UAN 111-811-111, said the statement.
