Brad Pitt, the 41-year-old "Mr and Mrs Smith" star, checked into a Los Angeles hospital on Monday night after taking ill, with what is believed to be a severe flu after a brief appearance at a weekend motorcycle event in California. Only returning last week from a holiday in Africa, Brad Pitt was laid up after accompanying "Mr and Mrs Smith" co-star Angelina Jolie to Ethiopia to pick up her newly adopted girl, Zahara. Earlier this week Brad Pitt was believed to have been scouting for a US$1 million holiday home in Morocco.
While few details of the illness are available, publicist Cindy Guagenti said, "He's fine. We think he has the flu ….They are just doing a couple tests." Guagenti, however refused to name the Los Angeles hospital where Pitt checked in to for security reasons. After a separation in January from "Friends" actress Jennifer Aniston, the "Troy" and "Fight Club" star traveled with twice divorced, Angelina Jolie to Ethiopia as she finalized Zahara’s adoption. The star, separated after over four years of marriage to Aniston, is in the midst of his divorce and is believed to be courting Angelina Jolie.
A recent British survey on the most enviable bodies found that women by first preference would like their men to look like Brad Pitt while they would love to look like Brad's "love interest", the 30 year old Angelina Jolie. Brad's separated wife, Jennifer Aniston who also figured on the list was preferred only for her hair. Pitt and Jolie, a most sought after Hollywood ”couple” after the whopping success of “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” at the box offices, have said that they are just good friends.
However, the media has been closely following the duo and has seen Pitt investing a lot of time on his “co-star” and almost inseparable from her. Dr. Tsegaye Berhe from the Ethiopian orphanage said at that time "You could tell they were in love and when they saw the girl they held their breath before letting out a gasp of excitement. Angelina wiped a tear from her eye….Brad put his arm around Angelina”.
Only last week, 36 year old Jennifer Aniston collapsed on the sets of "The Break Up" owing to a serious case of heatstroke, while Brad accompanied Jolie to Ethiopia for the adoption. While Guagenti was not sure if Brad had caught the bug in Africa, the erstwhile couple Brad and Jennifer have had their fair share of illnesses this recent week. Perhaps relationships and jetset lifestyles taking a toll on health.

Read Vanity Fair's interview with Jennifer Aniston and you will find out the truth. Brad Piss is the pits...He is an egotistical, stereotypical man. NOT all men cheat, some men are REAL and actually mature enough to handle a marriage and not just a girlfriend.
I hope women pay attention...boycott Brad Pitt.

I appreciate Brad's and Jolie's concern for the world. They are two extraordinary Americans who care more about what is going on the other side of the world than just fame and luxurious life. Their relationship is all their personal matter. I think we should all keep our nose out of it. Instead of focusing on superficial matters and condemning them, we should appreciate the great works they are doing and learn from them.

I'm wishing Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston, the best of Health and Happiness. My great Dad Jerome, once told me when I was dumped from a lover boy friend, that fell for another women. ''ALL MEN CHEAT, EVEN I, WHEN YOU CATCH THEM, JUST GO ON WITH YOUR LIFE." Well I don't really know if my Dad ever cheated in reality, but I did go on. I had other relationships, but the friendship of the man that cheated on me was always there. I've been living with this man for the last ten years now. You never know the future, but there is forgiveness in real love. I pray Jennifer, can forgive Brad, so their great friendship can continue. They had a lot to work out in their marriage, before Angelina Jolie, came between them. Jennifer, should look in the mirror and figure out what she wants and if it is Brad, go and tell him how she really really feels and misses him. Maybe its not too late to start over. All is fair in love and war. She is still married to Brad Pitt, until September.

Finally brad found himself a woman who has a big heart. Regardless of what jolie does behind closed doors, she spends her money on helping the poor and needy unlike jennifer who is all about hollywood crap and red carpet. c'mon give jolie a break. She does more humanitarian work than all hollywood actresses combined together. I am all for jolie and whomever she wishes to be with brad or her next co-star

What the heck does Aniston have besides her hair? I am thrilled that Friends is off the air. All that girl knows how to do is clear her voice before she says something. I was hoping Pitt could give her some acting lessons to help her out. As for Jolie, at least she has a heart for children, whether she has them vaginally, C-section, or adopted. I, too, have adopted. Children are just as valid and beloved whether you have stretch marks or not. Bug off, CM

Regardless of whether or not Brad and Jolie are involved sexually, Brad is still a married man. His divorce with Jennifer Anniston is not finalized. California's mandatory waiting period is 6 months from the date the divorce complaint is served. According to the media the divorce was filed in March 2005. I agree people have a right to live their own lives, but where are the morals in our individual decisions? Divorce and the deceptive behavior of celebrities is widespread throughout our society, we should not glorify their behavior because it can numb us to think it is acceptable behavior. What can we do? We can choose to not see the movie "Mr and Mrs Smith" or buy any tabloid magazines! We can choose in our individual decisons and actions to not support adulterous/deceptive behavior!

I am saddened about the Brad/Jen breakup -- marriages require alot of work, you will always have hurdles to overcome. But I was disappointed when Brad said - marriage isn't forever, we'll see where it goes. How do you go into a marriage with that statement that it won't last. I am probably one of few who would still like to see them together.

Brad and Jen have had problems LONG before Angelina came into the picture. Jen has admitted that she is insecure and has issues with trust etc. Everyone saw the photos of them in Anguilla in January 2 days before she filed and they were perfectly fine, hugging and smilling, looking like they had made peace with the impending separation. She then filed for divorce a few day later, obviously it was planned and they took a final vacation together.
If Brad then falls for Angelina then so be it. Like someone said above, they don't want to be like Jen adn Ben or the Tom and Katie fiasco. They should keep it private for their own sakes and out of respect that his divorce is not final.
He is free to move on as is she and waiting for the logistic of the divorce to come through shouldn't hinder them from moving on, especially if the do not make a circus out of it as they have been trying.

I'm surprised that everyone is still stuck on the Brad/Jen/Angelina love triangle thing. Brad just entered the hospital with flu-like symptoms after returning from Africa. How long will it take before speculation arises in the tabloids and rumor mills on the possibility of Marburg or Ebola? Now there would be a big story.

Months before the Pitt-Jolie romance, there was trouble in paradise with Brad and Jennifer. I can't believe the media missed it!
As Oprahs guest, Jennifer was asked if Brad was her soul mate. After a long, (and surprising) pause, she said "Im not sure...I hope so."
I would have been devastated if I was Brad! To give an answer like that in front of the world was absolutely telling me, that their marriage was not what we all thought it was.
