Chandigarh, Feb 27 Celebrations at the home of Akali Dal leader and former Punjab finance minister Kanwaljit Singh over his victory in the assembly elections were cut short with his son and first-time politician Jasjit Singh 'Bunny' losing from another constituency.While father Kanwaljit Singh - seen as one of the most powerful Akali leader after Akali Dal president Parkash Singh Badal himself - won from Banur, Jasjit Singh lost from the adjoining assembly seat of Kharar.Both constituencies adjoin the state capital Chandigarh.Jasjit, an advertising professional, quit his job recently to join the electoral fray. Balbir Singh Sidhu of the Congress defeated him.
