KARACHI, Pakistan, Feb. 18 Navy helicopters Sunday rescued six people trapped on the roof of a burning 15-story building in Karachi, Pakistan, authorities said.

Two of the people were injured and taken to a hospital, PTV reported.

The fire gutted three floors of the Pakistan National Shipping Corp. building and damaged two others, PTV reported.

Federal Minister Babar Khan Ghouri said an inquiry committee will investigate the fire's cause.

PTV reported the people trapped on the roof were employees of a cellular phone company.
