London, Feb 15 An Indian-origin teenager danced to Bollywood numbers to win her way into the second round of a new British TV show, 'Britain's Got Talent', defeating around 50,000 aspirants.Roshni Patel, 17, sailed through to the next stage of the competition after receiving a unanimous 'yes' verdict from the panel, which included Simon Cowell of Sony BMG, former Mirror editor Piers Morgan and actress Amanda Holden.'Britain's Got Talent' is a British television show scheduled to go on air in April 2007. The aim of the show is to search for Britain's next best amateur talent, and features singers, dancers, magicians, comedians and other talents of all ages. The series follows the formula of hit US talent show, 'America's Got Talent'.'I have been doing Bollywood dancing from around the age of eight and when I saw the advert for the competition I thought 'I'm going to give that a shot'. I made it through the very first auditions, which apparently 50,000 people went for,' the sixth form student at Aldersley High School said.Roshni is now hoping her Bollywood moves and colourful costumes will help her get all the way through to the final live televised stages of the competition, according to Express and Star newspaper.'I was quite nervous but I was confident that I could do it,' the youngster added.
