NEW YORK, Feb. 14 As part of its Valentine's Day celebration, New York's Central Park Zoo offered adults a chance to pay $50 to watch the mysteries of animal mating rituals. While no actual techniques were on guaranteed to be on display during the zoo's Jungle Love event, Central Park Zoo officials said curious visitors would be amazed at how amorous the average animal can get, the New York Post reported. When it comes to romance, humans have nothing on the animal kingdom, said zoo director Dr. Dan Wharton. With nearly 70 people signed up for the nighttime tour of the zoo's rain forest on Valentine's Day, the zoo's staff was prepared to ease the shock with a bevy of hors d'oeuvres and fruity cocktails for all visitors. The paper said that due to the possible graphic nature of the after-hours affair, only adults would be allowed to attend the unusual event.Copyright 2007 by UPI
