London - British cyclist Mark Cavendish, who won six stages of this year's Tour de France, won't be leaving his Columbia team for Team Sky. "I9m in the best position at Team Columbia," the 24-year-old told The Times newspaper Monday.
"I9m not looking for a contract. I want to win and I want to be in the best place to do that, and that9s Columbia."
Cavendish added that he not received a formal approach from Sky but would consider a move in the future if a stronger team made an offer, but at the moment he was very settled.
"At Columbia, I have a team built around me," he said. "That9s how we won Milan-San Remo - we had eight guys riding just for me."
