Cologne are 13th with 13 points, Bochum have one point less as the 16th-ranked side in the relegation zone.
The other eight matches are scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, with league leaders Bayer Leverkusen hosting VfB Stuttgart, in-form Werder Bremen playing champions VfL Wolfsburg and indifferent Bayern Munich at Hanover 96.
