Washington - Golf luminary Tiger Woods was seriously injured Friday in a car accident near Orlando, Florida, local media reported.
State police troopers told Fox Newsand the Orlando Sentinel that Woods' car, a 2009 Escalade, first hit a fire hydrant as he was leaving his driveway and then a tree on his neighbour's property.
The accident happened at 2 am Friday morning outside his residence in Isleworth, Florida, but was not reported until 2 pm Friday afternoon, the Sentinel reported.
Woods, 33, was listed in serious condition at Health Central Hospital in Ocoee, according to Fox News and the Orlando Sentinel.
