The producer-and-singer - who penned recent UK number one single 'Never Leave You', which was recorded by Tinchy Stryder featuring Amelle Berrabah - has revealed his bosses have been getting angry with him for writing so many tracks for other artists.
He told BANG Showbiz: "I kept writing them and the record company kept shouting at me because I kept giving all the songs away.
"I'm not really precious like that. I started off as a songwriter and producer so I'm happy to write songs and happy for them to be out, whether it's me singing or somebody else."
Taio - who has also worked with Leona Lewis, JLS and Will Young - thinks it makes sense for him to give some songs away if it means they will get more exposure.
The 24-year-old star added: "I want them to be hugely successful, so if that means someone else has to sing it, then fine. If it's a case of shall I give it to Britney Spears or shall I do it myself, well I think, at the moment, I'm big in the UK, Britney is big worldwide, so..."
