New York - A Miley Cyrus tour bus flipped off a wet road in central Virginia Friday, leavingone person dead and others injured, state police told WTVR broadcaster in Richmond, Virginia. The bus was carrying members of the singer's production lighting crew, and many were asleep at the time of the crash south of the centrally-situated state capital, the report said.
The singer was riding in another bus that had taken a different route.
The bus veered out of the right lane and travelled about 100 metres alongthe wrong side of the road before tipping over, police told WTVR.
TMZ celebrity news website identified the fatality as the driver.
The bus was headed to Greensboro, North Carolina, where the 17- year-old star of Hannah Montana was to perform in a Sunday concert.
