Sydney - More than 500 sheep were killed when a truck carrying them to an abattoir overturned on a bend in Australia's south-east. Victoria Police Sergeant Nick Buenin said Friday that the truck with 750 sheep on board hit a guard rail and slid on its side for about 100 metres. The driver suffered minor injuries.
"There's a lot of sheep ... you know they are in pain," he said. "It's very difficult to walk around and destroy them."
