London - Formula One world champion Jenson Button has signed to drive alongside Lewis Hamilton in an all-British line-up at McLaren next season, the BBC reported Wednesday. Button's switch from Brawn will be announced later Wednesday, according to BBC Sport.
Brawn, who have been taken over by Mercedes, made Button an offer, but the 29-year-old did not consider it acceptable, it added.
If confirmed it would mean the McLaren team go into the 2010 season with the world champions of the past two years.
