Kabul - A suicide bomber blew himself up in front of a military base in the eastern part of the Afghan capital Kabul and wulded three people, officials said Friday. Interior Ministry spokesman Zamarai Bashary confirmed that the blast, which occurred on Jalalabad road, was a suicide attack. Sayed Abdul Ghafar Sayedzada, the head of the police's criminal investigation department said that the suicide attack wounded three Afghans and destroyed four vehicles. The area has been sealed off by security forces. There has been no information of the exact target of the attack, which occurred near Camp Phoenix, a military base used by international troops in Afghanistan. A spokesman of the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) could only confirm that a suicide attack had taken place.
