Dresden, Germany - A 28-year old German man of Russian origin was sentenced to life imprisonment on Wednesday for the murder of Egyptian pharmacist Marwa el-Shirbini. Alex W stabbed the woman to death and severely injured her husband during a hearing in a Dresden courtroom on July 1, where he was being fined for calling her an "Islamist" and a "slut".
