London - David Beckham is out of the England squad for next week's friendly against Brazil, it was confirmed on Monday. The midfielder had been named in Fabio Capello's 24 for the game in Doha, on the understanding that he would pull out if his club, Los Angeles Galaxy, reached the Major League Soccer Western Conference final. Galaxy beat Chivas USA on Sunday, to set up a final against Houston Dynamo on Friday, ruling Beckham out. The game is England's penultimate one before Capello names his provisional squad for next summer's World Cup finals.
