London - Two players in Britain have cracked the jackpot of 100 million euros (146 million dollars) in the Euromillions lottery, the Camelot lottery company said Saturday. The two winning tickets would divide the pot evenly. In the event that the tickets were held by individuals and not by a betting pool, it would be the largest single lottery payout ever in Britain, the company said.

The previous single largest lottery payout in Britain was some 40 million euros won by a post office employee in 2007.

The largest single jackpot win ever in Europe came last August in Italy, when a player won 147 million euros.
