Hamburg - Olympique Lyon on Wednesday scored an injury time goal by Lisandro Lopez to secure the draw they needed at home against Liverpool to advance to the knock-out stages of the Champions League. Liverpool substitute Ryan Babel thought he had given the Premier League side the win seven minutes from the end in their Group E match before Lisandro struck late in the game to make the final score 1-1.
Liverpool, who are on four points, are now in danger of being knocked out as they are five points behind Fiorentina, who beat Debrecen 5-2 in the night's highest-scoring game.
Joining Lyon in the round of the last 16 on the night was Sevilla, who managed to draw 1-1 against VfB Stuttgart in Group G and benefited from a 1-1 draw between Unirea Urziceni and Glasgow Rangers in the other group game to make sure of their place in the next round.
