Managua - Major League Baseball pitcher Vicente Padilla accidentally hurt himself as he practiced shooting at a range in his native Nicaragua, police said Wednesday. Nicaragua's National Police said Padilla, 32, suffered a slight wound to his right leg Tuesday in the accident, which took place as he was handling his jammed weapon at a range in south-eastern Managua. The baseball player was treated for the minor wound at a private hospital in the Nicaraguan capital.
