Rio de Janeiro - Brazil are likely to launch on home soil, in the southern city of Curitiba, their preparations for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. The Caju Training Centre belonging to Brazilian football club Atletico Paranaense pulled ahead Tuesday in the race to host the squad coached by Carlos Dunga, in the wake of a visit from a commission including Dunga himself.
The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) said in a statement that the commission - which also included CBF president Ricardo Teixeira - had visited the facilities "to define the training place for the Brazil national team in the first stage of preparations towards the 2010 World Cup."
While the CBF did not confirm the definitive pick, a source at the organization told German Press Agency
