London - Arsenal could be without defender Gael Clichy and striker Nicklas Bendtner for up to a month because of injuries, the Premier League club said on Tuesday. France left back Clichy has a suspected stress fracture in his lower back, while Bendtner is struggling with a groin injury.
"It looks like (Clichy) could be out for a while," Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger said. "We fear a stress fracture but we will know more of that tonight. But if that is the case, he will be out for a few weeks.
"Nicklas we still do not know yet but we suspect four weeks."
Both men will miss the Champions League clash with AZ Alkmaar on Wednesday and then the game with Standard Liege on November 24, as well as up to three Premier League games.
