Pristina - Former US president Bill Clinton will visit Pristina on Sunday for the dedication of a statue celebrating his role in the fight of the Albanian majority against Serbian rule, Kosovo's prime minister, Hashim Tahci, said Thursday. The statue is to be unveiled on the Bill Clinton Boulevard, Thaci said, calling on Kosovars to turn out en masse "on the occasion of the visit by our great friend." Clinton was president when the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, led by the US, intervened against Serbia, forcing it to withdraw its security forces from Kosovo and to end a heavy-handed campaign of terror against Albanians. The pullout of Serbia's security apparatus and the arrival of a United Nations administration paved the way to Kosovo's declaration of independence in 2008. Albanians make up 90 per cent of Kosovo's 2 million inhabitants, with Serbs making up the most of the rest.

hey serbian buddies, your memory is very short and very selective, but history doesn't forget ...
... let me give you some facts
1 - while some 400-500 serbs were killed durin the kosovo war, about 10,000 albanian civilians were butchered by the serb police and military (and you want those people to be your subjects??? ridiculous) WHOLE TOWNS! were burnt, like my town PEJA and the neighboring town DJAKOVICA
2. serbs perpetrated war and terror not only in Kosova but the whole ex Yugoslavia
3. albanians have been terrorized throughout history by the serbs, expecially during the 1900's - it has not been the other way around (and don't mix albanians with the turks and the turkish occupation of the balkans)
4. albanians were cleared of any wrongdoings while many serbs have been convicted of war crimes - and don't start with any conspiracy theories here
This proves that OUR STRUGGLE WAS JUST and Clinton did THE RIGHT THING to order attacks on the serbs
Finally one very simple advice for the serbs - LIVE AND LET LIVE
... and wake up from your medieval dreams!
as a final note, kosovars are doing anything possible to create conditions for the return of serbs, even other minorities complain that the government of kosovo is only working for the serbian minority and not others
- while they are being very uncooperative trying to boycott all effors -

Bill Clinton to be honored in Kosovo Sunday

Letter to the editor(s)

In reference to "Bill Clinton to be honored in Kosovo Sunday," it should be noted that at one time, over 40,000 Serbs lived in Pristina. Today a mere 250 Serbs remain, too frightened to leave their compound without NATO protection for fear of their lives from Kosovo mobs.
According to the German Bundesnachrichtendienst (Federal Intelligence Service,) Hashim Thaci is one of three Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) kingpins who run the Albanian mafia rackets in Kosovo. Thaci is also known for eliminating anyone who crosses his ambitions. Thaci, (nicknamed "the Snake" by his admiring comrades when he was the commander of the KLA,) should be called what he really is, a terrorist who has taken over the baton as Kosovo's prime minister from another terrorist, Agim Ceku, who, according to Jane's Defense Weekly, was linked to two of the grisliest episodes of brutality against Serbian civilians in the Yugoslav war. Furthermore, Hashim Thaci has been implicated in the macabre harvesting of body parts of yoiung Serbian soldiers in 1999.
One must ask the question, if Kosovo Albanians have been ethnically cleansed, as has been claimed, then why are the Kosovo Albanians over 90% of the population and the Serbs, who were once the majority in their Jerusalem, less than 10 percent?
Think about it.

Let's see... there wasn't any 'ethnic cleansing' until Clinton moved forward with bombing the traditional U.S. allies the Serbs. He basically instigated that problem while he was being questioned about Monica Lewinsky. The people who are honouring him with a statue have been on Interpol's list of world criminals as well as the U.S. list of terrorist groups. Does any of this make sense?
